  • Katherine Kohan

    President

    Katherine joined RKPTC and the Perth community in January 2024, having moved with her husband and two cats from Houston, TX (while born and raised in Dallas, TX). She specialises in being a "Loud American," after having worked for fifteen years in business strategy in the States.

    Katherine is a pragmatic optimist who views every Club challenge as an opportunity for a strategic win. While her official title is President, she prefers Madam President, if asked.

    Katherine is a dedicated UTR 3.0 player who is actively working on her ability to speak at a volume that doesn't echo across the courts quite so much.

    Katherine served as Secretary & Treasurer of RKPTC from October 2024 to May 2026.

  • Beth Meertens

    Club Captain, Admin Manager

    Beth was born and raised in Papua New Guinea and has also lived in the US, Malaysia, Canada, Hong Kong and Brisbane. As a third culture kid and with moving to new locations often, she found sport, and tennis in particular, as a key way to build lifelong friendships, connect and be part of a community.

    Along with raising two daughters, Beth has always enjoyed volunteering within the community. She has taught swimming to minority families, art to children and also been involved in organising social and fundraising events for various charities and organisations.

    Professionally Beth as also worked as a liaison advisor to two senior government ministers and also worked as an executive assistant to senior C-Suite leaders. Beth looks forward to contributing to the ongoing growth and development of the club and helping to foster the same sense of friendship and belonging that sports has given her throughout her life.

  • Brett Patten

    Vice President

    Brett is an MBA graduate from Edith Cowan University and Fellow of the Institute of Managers and Leaders ANZ. Brett is a renowned sports administrator and accomplished tennis champion. Recognised for his significant contributions to sport administration and exceptional achievements in tennis, Brett was honoured as the 2022 Sport Administrator of the Year by Sport West and the Department of Local Government, Sport, and Culture. He is also an inductee into the WA Tennis Seniors Hall of Fame.

    Brett's Tennis Administration Roles have included the following: Vice President, Member-Elected Director, and State Selector at Tennis West, Committee roles include Tennis West Disciplinary Committee and Secretary for Tennis Seniors, Named Administrator of the Year 2022 by Sports West DLGSC

  • Richard O'Donnell

    Heritage Officer

    House & Grounds

    Self employed for 35 years. Joined RKPTC in 1996.

    Club Captain for three years.

  • Greg Macpherson

    Vice Captain

    RKPTC member since 2007

    UWA Bachelor of Economics.
    Has worked in contract management for a number of organisations.

    Former member Cambridge Squash Club and Reabold Tennis Club.

    Playing Sunday tennis pennants in summer.

  • Geoff Barker

    Chair Corporate Stakeholders Committee

    Focus Lease and Sub Lease matters, relations with corporate stakeholders.

    A member of RKPTC since 2016, Geoff has played competitive tennis for many years, previously at Dalkeith, where he was Club Captain and at Cottesloe. Geoff was a member of the successful WA Men’s O50’s doubles team at the Australian and NZ Championships in Christchurch in 2006. He currently plays for RKPTC in the Men’s O50’s Team.

    Geoff is an energy industry professional with over 40 years of global experience comprising senior executive and board positions in listed and unlisted companies and as an owner and executive director of a successful independent consulting business. Geoff has a BSc Melbourne University, M.Eng.Sc (Pet Eng) Sydney University and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
